CO Snow

It looked like a dusting on Mt sneffels last night but hard to see between the clouds

I live in So. Central Colorado, only 55 miles N. of New Mexico.
We've had a cool and rainy August. Overnight low temps in the mid 40's for the past 10 days. High daytime temps aren't getting much above 70 when it's cloudy. Of course our warm Sun boosts that up considerable when it's shining.
I don't see a radical change in our weather in the next week. I think the forecast is for more partly cloudy weather for the next week.
We've had above average rains all Summer, so the backcountry is quite lush. Elk can feed about anywhere they want.
