Been meaning to post this forever. Shot this buck with my .50cal Omega, 777 powder, and 295gr Power Belts. We spotted a herd of 5 at about 2-3 miles, made numerous stalks that put us way short of there position (misjudged the distance) and finally ended up 135yds away. He was quartering to me when I shot, he spun and went 30 yds and keeled over. Round trip on the Garmin was 5.8 miles, from start to finish. It was a blast and I hope to draw in 2014.

Mtmiller, used a eblerstock X1 and an older external frame pack. We dropped the packs about 500yds before we got on him, my old college roommate went along as a pack mule.

Awesome. Pretty cool packing out a lope. Now that's hunting. Once again, well done.
