Looking into a CO muzzleloader hunt. I'm wondering what the best ways are to contact ranchers for a trespass fee hunt when you are not a local? Thanks

If there's a "best way" I don't know of it.

You can try
1) Calling local Chambers of Commerce and asking if there are any ranches that solicit trespass hunters
2) Checking online for ranches that sell unguided hunts directly to hunters
3) Knowing someone in Colorado that has a feel for a given community

Other than that, you'll just have to do the research. Keep in mind there are a few states where you can draw a muzzleloader antelope tag for relatively low points, and I hate to say it but that's probably a more realistic option for you.

Edit: On second thought, I don't know about the "more realistic" part. You may well be able to find a ranch to fit your needs. Hop over to NM and the chance goes up as well.
