With the wildfires in CO, we’re having to adjust our plans and we’re heading to unit 16 and I’ll have a mobility impaired cow tag in my pocket at the end of September. I will also be carrying around a crossbow. I’ve done a lot of searching various forums and most of what I’ve found is over 5 years old and states the elk all go to private land at the beginning of archery. Does anyone have any recommendations/insight into this unit they can share? Thank you in advance!!
