Lipsey’s Ak Bush rifle- 9.3x62

Howdy,

I picked up one of these to become my bomb proof/ bring anywhere/ any condition/ any big game rifle. I’ve always wanted to try the 9.3, so here I go. I’ve loaded up a 100 PPU cases with 286 gr SP PPU and some 275 gr Mo. bullet co. Coated cast bullets. Trying varget, cfe223 and RL 15.5. I’ll find out where the iron sights are at. I’ve been reading that they are way low at 50 yds. We’ll see. Then I’ll mount up a Leupold 1.5x5 and see how it performs. Anyone else have one?

Interested to see how it does for you, I went back and forth on one but waited too long. I do hope they thread the next batch, I love that they did them in the 9.3 and 35 whelen and not bead blasted stainless

Ramshot big game works well with heavy bullets in the 9.3. Here's John Barsnes data from reloaded mag. Loads are hot. They are pushed to 30-06 pressures so work up slowly.
