I went for a little hike on Wednesday and managed to find this small bunch of sheep. There's no open season in this unit, so these sheep aren't too spooky. With only 6 tags sold a year in CO, this may be the only way I ever get to "shoot" a desert sheep. There was three bigger rams in the area, but they weren't quite as cooperative.

I'd say I was within 25 yards of some of them.

Gunner, I was in the desert, looking for desert sheep.

The area I found these guys rarely will have 10" of snow on the ground at any time during the winter.
