Cementum aged critters - Let’s see them..

This was aged 2 years at Matsons. Clearly incorrect? Seems almost certain the teeth got mixed up by Idaho check F&G rather than lab error. When I called and then sent in photos, Matson staff pulled the slide and verified what was on the slide was 2 years. Guessing the dinker moose that was checked in right before mine ended up with a much older age that would be realistic. I can imagine that hunter that shot a dink telling his buds he shot an old warrior on the downhill slide. LOL

Will update when I get new result back after sending in another set of teeth with a few other critters.

When did Idaho start sending teeth out on moose to age them?
I killed mine in 2012 and the biologist came out to my truck, grabbed onto each side of the rack with his hands, turned his head back and forth, and said, "yeahhhhhh, that's 5 year old."
