Cell Service in Montana ?

I know we have a fair amount of MT people here.
What Cell Service seems to be the best overall in MT ?.

Yeah don't go AT&T on the 800 mile drive home I think I had service for maybe 100 miles total.

I had good coverage with Verizon at the bear hunt...text messages and picture messages were a little slow, but I was always able to make a phone call

I just switched from ATT to Verizon last week, night and day difference.

All things considered,there still can be some large areas without any service.I hunted turkeys this spring in an area where I could clearly see 80 miles south,10 miles west and ten miles east with no signal.

Verizon, though, it depends on where you are. Both Verizon and AT &T cover the larger cities of Montana.

I had Verizon for over ten years until moving recently. There is no Verizon coverage at my home in Corbin, and my wife is occasionally on call, so we switched to AT&T. Thus far it has had comparable coverage in Southwest Montana to Verizon. Some neighbors of mine purchased a signal amplifier from Verizon for their home with mixed success.

One thing. Their coverage maps- both Verizon and AT&T - are misleading.
