If you like bones. I consider eating Carp the same as eating liver. Why? I your starving then fine, I have tried them both and I guess I have been lucky I have never been that hungry.

Try anything once ( except puffer fish)

I used to catch them in the Milwaukee River just for the fight. Then kill them and leave them for the raccoons and skunks.

I’ve eaten them early in the spring. They are actually not bad, takes a lot to get them good though. Taking out bones, cutting out all the dark red fat and blood line.
