If you like bones. I consider eating Carp the same as eating liver. Why? I your starving then fine, I have tried them both and I guess I have been lucky I have never been that hungry.

Try anything once ( except puffer fish)

I used to catch them in the Milwaukee River just for the fight. Then kill them and leave them for the raccoons and skunks.

I used to enjoy shooting them with a bow, but I havent shot one since I learned to catch them on a fly rod.

They’re better sport than targets. Great way to drink a 6 pack when it’s too hot to do anything else. Need to find more to chase with the fly rod.
