Made a trip up the Tucannon River with the family this weekend. We had a lot of fun looking at elk, deer, and all sorts of fun stuff. The kids got to catch a few trout and do a bunch of shooting. My daughter (3 1/2) made her debut as a shooter. Once I got her to start shooting, couldn't get her to stop. This is probably my favorite picture that I have of her to date.

My son is 7 and going to be able to start hunting next season. He is getting to be way more serious about his shooting. I've told him he can't hunt until he is a good enough shot so he has been practicing a bunch. He also can't hunt until he passes hunter saftey, which at the current point in time is the only way I can get him to practice reading and writing.

Always love getting to spend time in the mountains with the kids

Good stuff nbell....

I had a 98 Ford that we benchrested a 30-06 from side to side. I put a bullet hole decal over the real one in the offside panel. A memorable object lesson in scope versus muzzle height.
