Well we got hit last night, alot of closing going on but i'm heading to work so here is a couple pics. with any luck you guys will not get it and it will go out to sea.

This is the day before fishing season. I took a drive to where I was going to fish, to make sure the trail was broken and that the ice was out. I am glad I did because breaking the trail with a boat/trailer on would have been too hard. Although these pictures are from the day before the season ( I didn't get any on fishing day because I didn't catch any fish, too cold I guess) the season opener was the same. Some young fellos even blew their transmission out of their truck trying to take it through the snow into the fishing hole. I took my Atv had hauled my boat/trailer through the trail that i had beat down the day before. Like I say, to no avail but at least I tried. Pictures show how the snow was on Sat. and last photo is of deer that I saw. There are two deer standing close to each other just about in the middle of photo.
Oh yeah, when I dug worms on Sat. it was great. I filled my can in about 15 minutes. I dug in last years garden spot and it was covered by apprx 3" snow, but the worms were plentiful. Better luck fishing sometime in the future.

well to answer that question bruce, if you get the snow we got last night and today then you better buy a generator heater and every thing you can think of. Cause to add to what you guys got there with what we got then you are going to be under ground for a week or so. it just stop snowing and now it is sleet that is coming down. The snow was wet snow all day and the tree's are snapping off every where. Stay safe and get ready just incase it heads that way.

Looks like you have the most snow now, Trent. We got rain/sleet/snow/rain last night. Most of the snow is going with the rain. Temps are just above freezing so it can go either way. I long for the sunshine and warm tempertures.

come down here next week around thursday dave and stay a long weekend. They are calling for that kind of days and I can not wait for it.

there are calling for good weather on Saturday here but I will believe it when I see it.

They might be right bruce, it is great here today and the rest of the week looks good as well. The 18 inch of snow we got is just about gone. I'm betting by friday if it stays like this there will be only snow banks again. Time will tell and I need to get dishes done LOL later.

well morning all, as of now the front yard is showing the grass again. by today the lawn will be at full bloom.By friday i'll be back into my short again. Dave opening weekend I think I will go out and call a few turkey to see what I get for a responce. Not going to take the gun just see if I can (TALK TURKEY) lol.I think i'm going to help daughter install some cabinet they bought last weekend. What they paid for it I wish I new , I would of went as well and bought a couple. O by the way i'm going to get my ball joints fixs this friday as well. after all the high prices for the last month from $637 to $530. I'm getting it done after looking around for $383 to $400. Well time to wake the better half up, later.

You look bad as well bruce, take the day off. I bet dave is throwing a line in the water some where. And it is sunny and "HOT" here. I bet if I was out there all day I would of got a tan. Tonight i'm heading out and i'm not sure if I will be back til sunday. pending on the weather and the rashen I take with me.Well to nice to be gabbing here,later.

What another glorious day today. A lot of snow dissapeared and the skys are looking good for tommorow as well. Gotta love it. When does the turkey season open up down there Trent?

Turkey season opens on the first of may bruce and it is for the whole month. I seen a few turkeys this past weekend and it was cool. I'm figuring out the mouth call as well dave. Now that I no which way it goes in my mouth. And today here it look great and if it is going to be like yesturday then my shorts are going on for sure. I was sweating saturday, and it was not warm but "HOT" and the mosqito was out of this world, I had to put spray on just to keep them at bay. Well here is a turkey gobbling saturday morning, not sure if you guys can see him but if you turn the volume up you will here him for sure.

Dave you got any fish yet? How about you Trent have you got the freezer full yet?
Has anyone heard from Big Ben lately? Hope he is still hanging in there.

No fish here, Still. I am going to get out this weekend. I hope the warmer weather has started the fish biting. I'll keep you updated.

Go get them man. I hope to get over to the miramichi more this year and catch my first salmon. Yea I know good luck with that.
