I know some of the people who sit on the board of the Oregon Outdoor Council. I've asked them about the topic. They are disappointed it has come to this and they are working on many possible solutions to prevent it from going through. I don't hear a lot of optimism in their voice.

This whole thing is so sad, once it's gone...it's gone, hard to fathom. Before you know it, everyone will have to pump their own gas in Oregon too.

The Elliot State Forest was featured on the Economists Facebook page today. Nothing shocking, but a good avenue to show how hunters are working to protect out land.
