calibers for coyote?

Have any of you tried the .30/.30 accelerators?? They are a 30/30 loaded with .24 cal saboted bullets. Just wonderin' if you had tried 'em and if they are safe to shoot in a lever action.

I use my .240 Weatherby Mag topped with a 55 grain nosler ballistic tip seems to do the job quite well if you can hit them that is.

I use a .270 or since I am into muzzleloaders I like to use it when Im hunting in the timber. Oscar, I hope you get one with a bow. I'm sure you will.

Coydog, a good friend in Bliss Idaho shoots the 270 win with 100gr bullets for everything!! It dosen't do to bad a job either. Good luck,Outlaw.

Good caliber?? Well a Browning 300 WSM with 150gr ballistic tips should do the job nicely

Most of the time I use my 222.But every now and then I use my 22-250.

I use a 22-250 with a V-MAX 55 grain moly and VARGET powder. I love the 22-250, I don't think I can shoot a better gun in muy opinion.
Honestly, it is what ever a person is good at shooting and comforatable with.
I have 2 22-250's Remington 700 VS and a Savage 11. The Savage likes the 55 grain HP w/ CAN.
My first was a 243. But the romance with the 22-250 stole my heart. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
