Bye Bye Hoyt

Flood Hoyts customer service with links to all the articles on Bonars poaching adventure.

Probably the worst wildlife crime in Nebraska History.

The marketing is for the newbies and what the newbies watch. Not many older hunters need advice on what bow to shoot. No different than the influencers in Montana that hated UTV’s and now are sponsored 😂😂. It’s all for the money.

So if I was in the market for a Satori, does this mean it's now ok to buy a Chinese knockoff instead?

Never been a Hoyt fan, in fact my preferred compound set up is no longer in business (Ross Archery). It's a model from 2007 ish and I am not planning a replacement anytime soon. A shop local to me was a large dealer of them and he still knows how to tune them. It recently got a new string a few seasons ago.

I have found of all the new models I've shot, that the added cost does not equal any extra performance over what I have. I've shot several, and none of them made me jump to spend the money.

Thats unfortunate, ive been shooting hoyt for my entire life. With the exception of a couple years. Looking at getting one of the boys a new bow. I dont like sending money to companies that support these idiots. But Idk if I coukd find a manufacturer who wouldn't partner with anyone if it meant they coukd make more money and from what I'm seeing the bow im looking at for the specs and price point there isn't much for competition, unfortunately.

I really am surprised after the legal trouble with the Bowmars that they would even consider partnering. Usually companies distance themselves at the speed of light at the first mention of someone tarnishing their brand. I do hate to see it because I just switched this year from Mathews to Hoyt. Been shooting a mathews for 15 plus years.
