So will this do? I chopped the tips of the horns in second image trying to focus in. From the pickup that aint easy. In my hunt area where I had permission to scout from the landowner. Adjacent irrigated land or the brown grass would be there would be there.

Not sure what you're asking. As far as size, that's about the most average buck you could expect to find in most of the state.

We’re hunting third choice tags this year - I’d be thrilled to put a couple of those in the cooler. I’d guess maybe 12” long - go gettum Doug.

In WY bucks like that are a dime a dozen. For some one out of state who can't hunt every year it would be a representative buck. But you are Scouting.... Keep looking.

Yup, he's a last day shooter in my buck. I am a meat hunter so I do like the size of his body. Ones like him I will shoot on my type I tag on the last day.

As for other bucks, I am seeing a quite a few in my scope but can't get close enough to get a good picture and not going to do a stalk for that until legal hunting light is on. Probably going to set up a blind where I have been seeing the bigger bucks chasing others off. I don't want to permanently kick them out or let anyone else know where those are at. Big ones I will be posting after I have actually hunted them.

Here is my plan for my 5 day hunt:
Day 1-3: Fill the two doe tags Type 6. Take a 14 inch or better if buck is spotted meaning more than twice the length of the ears which I am assuming to be 6 inches.
Day 4-5: Get first decent sized doe down and butchered or a with descent size buck that can be located based on size not horns. Goal on these days is just to tag out and fill the freezer.

I have spotted two bucks so far that are in the 14-16 inch range on some private I got permission to hunt in addition to the HMA.
