Here's a cool buck that's a little light on the prong, but looks good just about everywhere else.

That is a great buck! I love it for the uniqueness of the cape alone. Is this a buck you are watching for this year?
 
Actually we've been seeing a lot of bucks with capes similar to this one. The bucks may still be shedding they're winter coats. Either that or they're just rolling around in the dirt. ;)

We'll probably be letting this buck live, but if he had longer prongs he may have been a candidate.
 
I have a really hard time judging them from the front. I suppose most do. They all look huge to me like that, must be kind of like a Muley from the back.

Has to get easier with experience. But he looks plenty big to me.
