Here's a cool buck that's a little light on the prong, but looks good just about everywhere else.

That is a great buck! I love it for the uniqueness of the cape alone. Is this a buck you are watching for this year?

Actually we've been seeing a lot of bucks with capes similar to this one. The bucks may still be shedding they're winter coats. Either that or they're just rolling around in the dirt.

We'll probably be letting this buck live, but if he had longer prongs he may have been a candidate.

I have a really hard time judging them from the front. I suppose most do. They all look huge to me like that, must be kind of like a Muley from the back.

Has to get easier with experience. But he looks plenty big to me.
