Each boy got one Friday night. I had the one on the right with me in a tree and the older boy was by himself with a bow.

The one with me shot his first and before we got back in the stand after find blood I was getting text from my older boy saying he got one. The muzzy shot blew the heart out. The older kid shot twice. The first was a little back, the second just skinned the deer. We had to go back this morning to find the bow deer.

I hope these two hunt together for life.

My brother and I grew up hunting together as kids. Taking our sons out together now is pretty cool. Really looking forward to November's deer camp, more for their sake than our own.
