Brotherly Carp Crusade

Well, my little Bro finally arranged a night out bowfishing. Our Dad, and 2 of my other brothers joined the fun Sunday night at Castle Rock Lake in WI.

The hour and half road trip to the lake found us with a dented bumper, and a bloody trailer/boat from a whitetail doe roadkill... the first pic shows the remains.

We were only able to fish for about 45 minutes before the popcorn thunderstorms chased us off the water.. but we were lucky enough to arrow one carp each before that.

I have not done well down i the southern part of the state. I think I missed the spawn as it maybe came early?? I shot 3 huge ones on the 24th, and then went back out again on the 27th and did not even see any. I am wondering if Green bay will be rockin this weekend.
