Bobcat mount #2

Took the tom the boys and I caught to the Iowa Taxidermy show last weekend. Had a great time, learned a lot, and was able to come home with 2 professional division blue ribbons(got 1 one on my deer mount too.)

It takes a lot of time, effort, and money to go to these shows to compete and learn. I challenge you all to support the taxidermists in your area that are working hard after hours to improve their skills so their clients get the best product they can for their hard earned money.

I took a very large male bobcat to a taxidermist when I was 16. Came back looking like a kitty cat. Was so disappointed. Been sitting in a corner at my folks’ house since. Wish it had turned out like that! Congrats.

@redwoood , this is the big tom I was referring to above. Should be a taxidermy school case study on what NOT to do. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I am super jealous of how yours turned out. So good!
