The thing is, only the first paragraph is true. And if you read the WHOLE story, you will find that they had changed the naming procedures to reflect French and Spanish names. She was just looking to add black names, as well. Personally, I don't care one way or the other.

The last 3 paragraphs are completely made up.

I don't think md is racist. I don't know him well enough to make a reasonable assumption either way. I do know that I found those last 3 paragraphs to be a little offensive.

I just fired myself, darn, I had to hire myself back. No one else could do the work.

Look what gets me and I live very close to DC, we had other names for DC growing up which I will not use any longer. You only hear about racist stuff from a minority, why is that? You only hear about the slave triad from a minority, why is that? I attend a church that is 9000 strong and it's 49/49% we are tough as Christians not to see color but to see sin. We are tough to see the heart of man. If those who look at keeping a mindset on racist issues would get their heads out of history and into letting there heart lead them I think this lady would have or should have gone to the people who name the hurricane's and put in writing that she would like to see some names added to the list. instead what dose she do ? Go public and in a seemingly ordering way and demanding fashion say this is what I want. The letter says she was pissed. I would consider changes is the request came from a person of sound mind.

In the next few months there is going to be allot of this kind of talk coming out of Washington. Watch how generates it.
