Tell me what the best Biometric handgun safe is and why. Something for bedside/bedroom. Or, maybe why I shouldn't bother with Biometrics. Definitely want something efficient to open though.

Don't make me Google anything or having to go ask ChatGPT.

thx

Been thinking more and more about this. All the damn StopBox ads are making me think something so simple would work. But I’d hate for the kids to figure out the way to get in them…

I got a stop box after the recommendation of a co-worker. It works, especially for a semi-auto pistol, but all of my revolvers are too wide.

It’s not bad for the money, and I keep one in the truck just to lock something up if needed, but wouldn’t say it’s a long term solution.

No idea the model. But this one from liberty has been solid. Does require a battery change more often than I'd of imagined though. Edit- my dumbass apparently it's an hd-200. Didn't notice til after the pic. It's stays up above the big safe.

I have never really looked, but have seen some YT videos, Vaultek slider or I think there is a new Liberty one....those are the one I would look at.

It started with what seemed like a promising opportunity. I was introduced to a cryptocurrency investment platform through someone I met online. They were convincing, patient, and even helped me set up my first account. Over the span of two months, I invested $165,000, watching fake dashboards show my profits grow. But when I tried to withdraw any amount, everything changed. Suddenly, the platform demanded fees, tax payments, and verification costs. Then, the site vanished and so did my money. I was devastated. $165,000 represented my savings, years of careful planning, and a hope for early retirement. I reported it to local authorities and my bank, but both said the chances of recovering crypto assets were slim to none. I felt foolish, embarrassed, and hopeless. That’s when I came across Malice Cyber Recovery. I found them through a financial safety forum while researching similar scam cases. I was skeptical after all, I had already been scammed. But they offered a free consultation, and their team didn’t make promises they couldn’t keep. They reviewed my case, tracked the blockchain transactions, and assured me that the trail was still warm. Malice Cyber Recovery launched a full-scale investigation. They worked with cybersecurity experts, legal advisors, and blockchain analysts. Within a few weeks, they identified the scam network and traced the funds through various crypto wallets. Through legal channels and digital takedown strategies, they managed to freeze a portion of the funds on an exchange where the scammers had moved them. A month later, I received the most relieving email of my life: $165,000 had been recovered and returned to my account. I couldn’t believe it. Thanks to Malice Cyber Recovery, I got my life back. They didn’t just recover my money they restored my peace of mind and faith in justice. If you’ve lost money to crypto scams, don’t stay silent. Speak up and seek help. There are experts out there who know how to fight back and Malice Cyber Recovery is one of them.
@Lostinthewoods set your phasers to “destroy”

Crotchfruit #1 is 18 years old and graduating next week, which makes my gunvault pistol safe 18 years old too. I change the batteries every 3 or 4 years. It's easy and has always worked.
