Okay, I'm working on finalizing my plans for my Bighorn Sheep Taxidermy mount. I'm leaning toward a wall pedestal mount with some rocks around one side of it. I'm getting replica horns done for the shoulder mount and then keeping the original euro mount so that it can be handled.
I've been looking around and have a couple examples of what I'm thinking on the shoulder mount. I wouldn't have any foliage, just the rocks. Would have the taxidermist try to paint the rocks to make them look like the area that I shot him.
Here's a couple of the examples.

I would try to have him replicate the rocks from the slide where I first shot him and where we ended up packing him out through.

For the euro mount I'm thinking of something like this with the same style of rock that would be with the shoulder mount. I thought about combining it into one piece but I think having them separate would give me more options.

I am running out of room for taxidermy at the house but think I have a prime spot for this one. I would put the shoulder mount up a little higher and then the rock with the euro down and to the side a little bit where you could easily pick it up off the fake rock.
I already have the lifesize mountain goat mount and only did enough cape for the shoulder mount so I could do a pedestal mount but I like the wall pedestal a little better for this for some reason.
Any thoughts? Anyone with other options I haven't thought of?
