My friend and I were in La Ventana last week end scuba diving and the owner of the place asked if we wanted to snorkel with whale sharks in La Paz.
We went with the research team looking for them. Swam with 3 different ones. Saw one huge ray but couldn't get on it. We were allowed to get within one meter of them. It was unforgettable.
