Ya that is the one I shot... ( Cameron, Wake up you are dreaming..) No Elkchaser, that is the big 9x12 that was shot in unit 8 in Az. There is a thread on bowhunting.com under Arizona. The guy who shot it apparently heard the bull bugle and heard some thrashing, as he approached the area he saw the bull and took the shot. It wasnt till he had the bull down that he saw just how big the animal really was..

If I had shot that bull, I think that I would have died of sheer excitement !

I will not be fortunate to shoot an adult bull this year, spike only where Kevin and I are going. But that will be fine for me because it would be my first bull elk. So If the heat resides and the cold arrives that is just one less obstical that we will have to tackle.
