I think there was a second storm headed Jeff's way. I hope they are all right.

Yep Fred is right, we are just on yellow alert for a second cyclone which has been downgraded to a 1 still have to go into work at midday though , the first storm was feckin' scary winds up to 180 mph which is the top end of cat 4 { at cat 5 the town gets evacuated } .

Anyway only 3 people killed and about 30 odd hospitalised, a few houses destoyed and a lot of roofs gone, I can see now why all the homes built in the last 10 years are steel framed, we had no problems here at home other than a few palms are standing at crazy angles, the annoying thing is I have two rifles { A Howa and a CZ} in transit from the east coast which have been classed non urgent and are being held back to give preference to medical supplies, fuel and food .
