Going back through some old pics from when I was much younger and found this gem. It was from 1986 well before the digital age, so took a phone pic of original. We originally had ideas of trapping these hogs. Looking on the ground while setting up a trap, I asked the property owner if he had heifers in this paddock. His response was “they’re pig tracks son”
This was one of many similar size hogs caught on this banana farm. The pigs grew huge from eating the bananas. We could get the truck to this one so we could drag it back to shed. It weighed in at 469lb And about 9ft long. Caught with dogs and stuck with a knife. Being young and VERY silly, saw me crawling up the thick matted tunnels with my trusty 22magnum rifle - glad I never came face to face with one like this.

My biggest whitetail. I think this was about 20 years ago. I was 18 or 19 at the time. Took him with my old Knight LK93 open sights muzzy. I knew he was big, but didn’t realize how big till I got up close. 19 scoreable points. Grossed 193”, netted 185”

I'll play-

Mule deer- 2005 Western Montana. He was a six by seven, and at the time I scored it at something like 158, I doubt that's very accurate though.

Whitetail- 2011 Western Montana. Five by Six that grossed just a tad under 150. I think it'd net like 144 and change.

Antelope- 2010 Eastern Montana. 15 6/8 length on both sides. I remember figuring it'd score like 75-76 if it hadn't broke off the one prong, not sure what it scored as is.

Elk- 2009 Western Montana. Four by five, winner by default.

Mountain Lion- 2011 Western Montana. 120 lbs, never measured the skull. Again, winner by default.

Bear- 2009 Western Montana. Hide squared like 5' 9", never measured the skull.

Thanks! Looks a lot better. You can actually see the antlers. This was on September 13 and was the first deer I saw come in that year.

I envy all the big'uns everyone posts. Generally, I'm a pretty well known baby-killer so I don't have any exceptional antlers or horns to post. But I did shoot this whopper...

Ahhhhhh the sister in law of squirrels!!!

This was a female that weighed 48 lbs. A Yooper cat. Our cats generally lack the wide white bellies and bold black spots but carry some size.
