Big ol Burban

It's neat to see getting the family involved on this project. As an adult I look back on the different things that I worked on with my dad (usually not because I wanted to at the time) and sure am blessed to know that I can do some shade tree mechanic work, framing, electrical and plumbing that I probably wouldn't be able to do otherwise.

That is the goal. I don’t expect them to be mechanics. I just want them to look back, smile, and have a mental tool box to help them fix their problem. What seems like a huge problem is just a series of small steps.

Advanced mathematics in a nutshell. Or as I tell my kids, "It's algebra all the way down. Always has been."

Yep, if you have a good grasp on the mathematical logic and dynamics of algebra and geometry ... then you are equipped to solve many problems.

I hated those subjects so much, I took Geology as an all day summer class. Learning about rocks in a classroom when it’s a beautiful summer day as a 20 year old. Didn’t even get to go outside for Lab.

Did ya have each of them give it their best shot at torquing that balancer bolt?
I had the boy holding a long punch in the flywheel. My wife had to come out and hold the engine. I had torqued it and set the depth already with the old bolt. Then the new bolt got the first torque sequence and was supposed to get to 140 degrees of additional turn. We made it to 130 ish before all hell broke loose. Torque wrench and kid went flying, lol. Called it and said good enough.
