Big Leeo

I took Leeo on a short hunt yesterday. He's 11 and has arthritis but still has the heart. He retrieved this duck from across the river then carried it all the way up to the front porch. I need to do more of that with him while the river is low. I sure love Labs.

That's a great photo, Leeo looks like he's showing some age looking at his face, but he looks very happy with 'his' drake.

brings a tear to my eye. I've always had a lab and I've escorted a few through those last years and have been amazed at what they can do with old bodies. Pure drive.
