Well, last Thursday I got a surprise in the mail from a small speed trap municipality near Dallas. It was a picture of my truck, my front license plate, and my face. The text explained I was zapped doing 71 in a 55....207.00.

Ya gotta love the DPS's gamecams.

I have some swim goggles that hang from my rear view mirror, and about a year ago I saw a Flash on Shea blvd in Scottsdale.... 3 wks later I got a warning... picture was blurred... I keep them permanent now... also you can put some plexiglass over the rear plate....I do not believe in Photo Radar

Go read the post again Jose, The goggles hang from the mirror [with me?] light from the flash[follow this slowly] deflects from the lenses in the goggles thus blurring the photo.

And I never said I was speeding

I missed a toll booth lane in Chicago during Xmas break. At the next booth i told the guy what happened and he gave me an envelope to fill out info and put the toll money in the the mail. When i got home 10 days later i looked the info over and it said I had 7 days to do so.... I didnt do anything and am still waiting for a ticket. Nothing yet!

Just watched a show on Mythbusters where they tried to beat the cameras with plexiglass, saran wrap, and all kind of commercial blurrers. Nothing worked. I think I will start wearing a ski mask while driving.

I was away on charters for a month onetime while living down in Australia. When the wife picked me up at the airport we were making our way home through the tunnel that runs under the harbor and I noticed everybody slowing down right in the middle of the tunnel. She say's "in her loving aussie accent" oh honey they have installed a speed camera here in the tunnel and I guess this is as good of time to tell you that it works real good. I said how good? and she say's well they got me 3 three times with pictures and all and about 450 bucks worth of good. |oo
