Best mule deer state?

The goal is to shoot a nice mule deer for as cheap as possible. Not looking to spend a fortune and shoot a record book buck. I have never shot a muley and I'd love to shoot even an average one. .

Ok. What are your physical abilities?

I find it interesting how anyone could answer this question without knowing a bit more about the OP.

With limited info provided, an option would be eastern Montana and get a block management booklet for region 7.

Physical abilities we are 18 and 20 and we are both in good shape that won't be an issue for us.

CO, but I may be a little biased...lol. I shot a forkie two Sundays ago that was well over 200lbs. They grow em big here....Start building points next year! You can get a decent tag with 2 or 3 pts as a NR.

Idaho can hold it's own also. Don't let these guys smoke you. We would gladly accept NR money. Plus, somebody could/would help set up a camp or loan you such.

OP, was the above helpful? LOL.

Glad am I not in a position needing to ask such a question on this board.
