Does anyone have recommendations for good high waisted pants for my wife?

She currently has some Kings Camo ones that fit good, but boy are they noisy…

It doesn’t have to be a hunting brand, just good pants that have a higher waist and can be worn October-December timeframe. Curious if anyone on HT know a good brand that their wives use. TIA

My wife, @Twobyfour , has been wearing Sitka for a couple of years and likes them, she has 1 trip with a pair of kuiu puffy pants that seemed to work well. I think she has a couple of pairs of solid color hiking pants we wears some times in the early season but can remember or what brand. I wear Kuhl hiking pants year round with no issues, just wear different layers.

A neighbor lady wears extra large German WWll wool pants with suspenders for late season hunting and swears by them. Almost the same as wearing wool coveralls. And much cheaper too!

I have a couple buddies who wives wear Kuiu. They really like it. Says it fits them better than others.

Mrs Leroy is a shorter woman with ample backside but a narrow waist, and the FL corrugated seem to do okay. A little swishy but she's comfortable in them so I keep my mouth shut.

I HAVE OPINIONS since women’s pants generally tend to suck. This has taken years of trial and error.

^These pants are my go-to for pretty much everything. Great for brush, comfortable, durable, good pockets. Warm but breathable. Buy them!

For elk season I run hot and would schwack up ridges in booty shorts if my legs wouldnt get torn up. So Sitka Ascents. Also camo!

My favorite pants are my First Lite Catalyst pants. IME they are higher rise than most. Very comfortable stretch, room for base layers, nice cool to cold season pant.

Prois are decent, I love the camo pattern if that’s a thing for her. They change the fits/cuts constantly, so I’m never sure which style/cut I should get. I have a pair of the Torai pants that are a good weight for cool into cold-ish weather. I would not consider them high-rise. They are very quiet. But my universal gripe with Prois is I *hate* their pockets. The hip pockets are shallow. The zip leg pocket is a long pocket down the front of your thigh to the high knee area. Dumb placement IMO.

That's my wife's favorite as well she likes the double button and higher waist. Works well for her during our deer season especially matched with good base layers.

Wife is pretty particular any more. She did two tours in Afghanistan wearing men's small body armor. She's still pissed about it. She is 505 and 115 and has been very happy with the Sitkagear ascent pants (woman's small) she also has a couple of the light weight hoodies. Also one pair of Prios, they are fine she says.
