Bear Pic

Here is a bear i took a picture of. I saw him while trying to close the distance of about 800 yards to get to a buck that looked to be a decent deer. Well i both stalks turned out to get me withing 25 yards of both animals.

Bear's ears really up....was it a younger bear?

Yeah it was a younger bear. And no he didnt hit the road, at first he seemed really interested in me and a buddy then after many times of standing up ,sniffing, and making a circle he headed down in the trees really slowly always keeping an eye on us. Normally when i see a bear it halls tail. We even saw it after stalking the deer one other time.
