I didn’t find what I was looking for when I did a search so I will ask y’all. I’m building my own bare fence for my wife’s rifle elk hunt at the end of the month. What energizer do you guys recommend and or do you think this one would be OK. It has a lithium battery so it’s a heck of a lot lighter and it solar charges. It also will shock up to 2.0J

The charger you picked looked fine.

I use a Zareba solar electric charger I bought at D&B to run electric for garden and tree fencing against elk. The Zareba is built for cattle/horse fencing. I have a few miles strung due to multiple lines on six foot fence. When properly set up, it works well. Elk are tough and need full juice. Elk will walk through a low setting. Dogs turn at the lowest setting. My understanding is bears are electric wimps. A small camping area shouldn’t be hard to set up.
