I'm gonna have to start looking Up when I'm bear hunting now.

Watched this little guy run up the tree and go to stripping off acorns. Guess they weren't falling fast enough for him. Pretty entertaining to watch him do his gymnastics in the tree...

In Michigan you can have bears coming in to bait right up till when the acorns fall, they they move to acorns and pass on sweets,, good hunting !

Bear love acorns. Many of the fall bears we shoot in MN have a belly full of them. I have seen a huge black bear walk up to a oak tree in a cattle pasture and shake it to drop more acorns.

Yes Ive seen that too. Here in Indiana, most everything( coons, deer, turkeys, etc) eats them like candy. . .I don't know that they pass on corn fields for them, but, if they are dropping the wildlife will be there. They tend to like the white oak better than red oak. . .say that the red oak are a little bitter. . .never tried either. Hard to beat an oak ridge when the snow starts falling.
