Agreed, I run a high limit on under/uninsured because of that. Few dollars extra to get $500k a year is money well spent in my eyes

I also run a high limit on mine. A couple years ago a 15 year old girl was joy riding in her friend’s uninsured car, pulled out in front of me and totaled my truck. Insurance he-hawed back and forth on the truck, then almost doubled my rate after they paid it with no previous claims. That seemed like a stretch for a wreck that wasn’t remotely my fault, they didn’t get any more of my money
