Bad Weather in Idaho

I just finished talking with my friend in Idaho Falls, and he said that since early this morning, all his wife has done is look through the kitchen window and the snow is nearly waist high. He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in...

That is funny! Good thing all of that rain wasn't snow here in the treasure valley. I suspect we would have close to two feet if it was colder.

HAHAH.. I hear they got pounded !! My dad lives in Challis and was up yesterday for a docs appointment. He tried gonig through Lowman but at the bottom of the hill they said they are closing the pass down after Grand Jean at 2PM yesterday. Lowman got a ton as well. I'd love to go look at the deer and elk in that area today !!

Well, not quite in Idaho. We have a shack in SE, Oregon and grammy and I got away over the holiday just cause. We had 29" total on Sunday, and the Snotel site is at 45" today. Kind of glad we came back early now seeing as how our snowmobiles are what you would call vintage+.

I'll be in the woods tomorrow and Friday. Hopefully this snow will finally push a bull down to where I can get to it. Last two days of the season!
