Bad song lyrics...and assorted stuff

Born on January 17, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, to a film director and writer and a psychoanalyst, she has two brothers, and is a mother of two sons, born in 1995 and 1998.She began her music journey by learning guitar from her uncle after taking ballet as a child. College concerts, including seeing Patti Smith live and attending the final Sex Pistols show, inspired her to pursue a career in music. In 1981, she co-founded the Bangles, becoming the voice behind hits like "Eternal Flame" and "Walk Like an Egyptian."Raised in a creative, intellectual household, she celebrated her bat mitzvah in Jerusalem despite her father’s secular beliefs. She sang the studio version of “Eternal Flame” naked as a producer’s prank, briefly played in a faux-’60s band with Mike Myers for the Austin Powers films, and once dated Prince and Michael J. Fox.

Brother Bob

Born May 6, 1945, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, he grew up in Ann Arbor with his older brother George. His mother, Charlotte, and father, Stewart, a medical technician for Ford Motor Company who also played several instruments, exposed him to music early. His childhood was challenging, his parents frequently argued, and his father left the family when he was ten, leaving them financially strained. Inspired by artists like Little Richard, Elvis Presley, and The Del-Vikings, he discovered music as both an escape and a passion, performing in local bands as a teenager and recording his first regional hit, East Side Story, in 1966.He gained national attention in 1969 with Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, which peaked at #17 on the charts, showcasing his raspy, powerful voice. He went on to form the Silver Bullet Band, achieving legendary status in heartland rock. He co-wrote the chorus of the Eagles' number-one hit Heartache Tonight, substantially rewrote the verses to Old Time Rock and Roll without taking credit, and became known as one of the best live performers of his generation. His 1976 live album Live Bullet, recorded in Detroit, remains one of the most celebrated live rock albums ever.Over a career spanning more than six decades, he has sold over 75 million records worldwide, earned induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2004) and Songwriters Hall of Fame (2012), and won multiple music awards, including a Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for Against the Wind in 1981. He won the Port Huron to Mackinac sailboat race twice, in 2001 and 2002, aboard his 52-foot sailboat, Lightning. He has been married three times: first to Renee Andrietti (1968), then to Annette Sinclair (1987), and currently to Juanita Dorricott (since 1993), with whom he has two children, Cole and Samantha. While he reached international fame, he kept his personal life relatively private and maintained a low-key profile, even during major tours and worldwide success. He retired from touring following his 2019 "Roll Me Away" final tour, though he made a rare return in October 2023 to perform She Drew a Broken Heart at Patty Loveless' Country Music Hall of Fame induction. His songs remain staples of classic rock radio, reflecting his enduring appeal as a voice of the American heartland and his continued influence on generations of musicians
