Know what's wild? This is the same kind of celebration of the same good news that people have been observing in the same place for millennia... and some richard cranium in DC wanted to sell many of the places this is currently happening off to his developer buddies to make a buck.

Thanks for the pics and videos, great reminder of why fighting for these wild places is worth every second of the effort.

Thanks much. This pronghorn was on BLM….where I spend a crapload of time.

In fact I am on it right now and will be spending night #611 on public land in the back of my current pickup. Probably 98% have been on BLM, FS, BOR, USFWS or National Grasslands.

What a gift we have as Americans.

Most of us live in the houses we own because a developer, at some point, decided it was a good spot to build some houses.

As I get older, I find myself often repeating Thomas Sowell's famous quote "There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs." I sincerely hope my son and future grandkids have the opportunity to hunt antelope and deer on public land the way I do. I also sincerely hope he has the opportunity to raise a family in a home he can afford to own (one with an actual yard that doesn't come with neighbors above and below him).

If anyone is seriously concerned about the next generation being able to own homes, they might want to concentrate on the fact that over a third of homes in the US are rented- TWICE as many as twenty years ago. The proposals to sell land off had literally nothing to do with affordable housing, they were simply another way to enrich developers and big corporate interests (who paid off politicians to come up with the selloffs).

Wildlife has been marginalized enough for the sake of dollar trees and rental subdivisions owned by foreign investors. Keep America American.

Not gonna lie here, my twisted mind went straight to baby pronghorn recipes when I read this thread title. Put that pronghorn veal in carne asada rub overnight, mmmmm.
