The rains have finally stopped in northern Wyoming and the pronghorn babies are dropping. One of my favorite times of the year with the green up and I have seen 3 little ones today while driving for work.

Post pics of pronghorn babies as you see them. I will start with a less than an hour old freshie.

Saw a set of twins in central nv a couple weeks ago. Still all shaky legged.

Years ago, I went out with a friend who wanted to photograph antelope fawns. We jumped a bedded one out of an old irrigation ditch, accidentally. It’s amazing how those little buggers, only a couple of weeks old, can hit about 45 mph in the space of three or four strides. It was barely tall enough to see amongst the sage, but it put a half-mile between us in about 30 seconds. Pretty amazing.
