He's pretty far along now, what do you think?

My camera goes to 16x, 32x with the extra lens, that's why its close.
 
Neat pic Tom, i've been supposed to go hunt a cull axis on the Russel ranch. I've got a friend who does a bunch of work for them. Axis has been one of the critters I have never had a crack at. Shot a few Barbado/Mouflan crosses in Sonora a few years back with a bow, but that is about it for exotics, cept for the truckloads of hogs I have killed.

They are great meat and tanning the hide is neat with the spots. I think this guy is going to be gold level because his brow tines are so long. I hope he doesn't mess up his velvet on a tree or something. Most of them are hard antlered by august.
