7mm REM Mag. Federal 140 grain trophy copper. Discontinued bought a bunch of boxes and it has proved itself. Silver dollar sized exited holes on 3 deer. They were 5 minutes apart.

Ankle is actually pretty good. My knees were actually more sore than my ankle even though I only had to carry the back half of the sheep on my pack about half a mile. My son got both halves down off the cliffy part of the mountain where I felt much more confident.
I'm writing an update with pics right now.

From mid November. Couple hundred yards from where I killed a bull 2 years ago with my bow. Got him 5 minutes after first light. Couldn’t ask for a better day to pack out either, sunny and around 30 degrees.
