Anyone had a moose tag in area 360 that is willing to chat? after 18 yrs of points and several yrs applying before that i drew a moose tag, but i entered the wrong unit by mistake online. oh well.

Glad to see you're still kicking! I know some basics about parts of it, it's a huge moose district. I'll mention to anybody i know, to let me know if they spot a nice bull. Look me up if you're coming through town.

Definitely not everywhere. I believe he’s got horses - though. I remember a pic of him from 15 years ago with a gigantic Madison range archery elk tied onto a horse. I suspect the tag will be used with 110% justice. Congrats Barri!
I know another horse guy in town that has the tag also. Fun one!

He doesn't have friends. If he did, they would of got a call that he drew a moose tag, instead of reading about it on Hunt Talk.

Thanks! I like the username. It was dissapointing to see id made an error on my application and used 18 points, but now im starting to get excited about exploring and im sur eit will be a fun permit. Will give you a call.

Ah the bitterfroot news team shows up on this antisocial cavedweller. Might be worth joining me and looking for different elk/packing moose if you have time or a tag after your camp. You can fight the bozangeles news team too.

I don’t get down in the south east part of your unit much, but if I see or hear about any big bulls running across the valley I’ll let you know which drainage they went into. Some really big bulls in that unit. I seem to recall a moose hunter killing a monster bull elk while hunting moose. That was probably quite awhile ago.

Yep. I’ve carried it a lot of miles and abused the shot out of it. Dropped it in a river in Alaska and had to dive for it. 41 mag.
