Shot mine today with TSS. Like you turned out the light in him. Pretty sure he never even heard the shot. Didn’t even flop. I love it. Nothing says you have to shoot them far. Let them in close if you want. Only downside is $.

I have to eat my words. I bought a 410 and TSS 9 shot for my 7yo and 10yo to hunt. My 7yo got a bird in the youth hunt here in WI. Shot him at 18yds bird didnt move. I was so impressed I used it 1st week in WI Shot my bird at 22yds he didnt move. Got my Merriam at 13yds, and today got another WI bird. All of these birds didnt flop once. Ive shot alot of birds with a 12g and they all flop.
Amazing ammo, I will just continue to limit my shot distance. But that 410 is my new favorite gun. And now I would say TSS is ABSOLUTELY worth it!

@WIbiggame good stuff man congrats! My 7 yr old shot his first tom a few weeks ago with the exact same setup. Dropped in his tracks and no flop. Love it

I killed my first turkey with my new .410 and 9 tss. I shot my second one with my trusty 12 gauge. I’m happy to report they are both dead! They are really delicious breaded and fried next to some morels. I can’t even tell the difference!
But what gun was easier to carry around and maneuver on the bird

Well.. if you want me to be honest, the red dot on the .410 was low. It knocked him down but, he went into a multiflower rose bush, I had to shoot him again as he was beelining to it. My fault for not taking more time sighting it in.But what gun was easier to carry around and maneuver on the bird
The 12 gauge didn’t have a sling on it and I was too lazy to get one out of the safe, I was about a mile from my house so it sucked carrying the turkey and gun back.
I bought the 5 tss for $38.99 at Wally World this spring and I bought the 5 12 gauge shells at the same Wally World for $7.99 a few years ago. There was 4 in the box when I left and 3 when I returned so I assume that box has killed two turkeys for $3.20 and the .410 has killed 1 turkey for $15.60.
The .410 has no wallop and the 12 gauge is noticeable when you shoot.
