"Vortex is a lifestyle brand masquerading as an optics company." I would argue you could say the same about Leupold, Athlon or really any big optics company.

Yes you def could argue that and you wouldn’t be wrong either, but in my opinion Vortex is much more about the lifestyle and less about quality optics than the brands you mentioned.

I can see what you are saying. Personally I've never had a problem with vortex so I don't have any reason to stop using them.
