Any vintage stereo nerds here?

I was helping at an e-waste even yesterday and came across an old Marantz 2265B. It was sealed up in the original box with the manual and appears to be in great shape. It powers up but I don’t have any speakers to hook up to it. I was thinking about taking it to a repair shop to have it looked over and then listing it for sale. Sounds like they’re pretty sought after. Any advice from the audio gurus on here? Thanks!

Don't sell it. Use it in your shop, garage, wherever. I have an Onkyo receiver and a couple DWD 4 speakers I bought new in the early 70's. The sound is incredible.

I miss rack systems...we must've sold a couple hundred albums garage sale cheap.

I still have original vinyl from 60's and 70's. I probably have most of the popular albums from the biggest groups of the day.

Definitely remember that. We would sync 2 turntables and crank it up until the house shook.

Who remembers simal-cast? Tune the tv to the video and the stereo to the audio.

I have a couple floor model Sansui cabinet speakers with 18" subwoofers. My goal was to get our closest neighbors 3/4 mile away to tell me to turn it down. I never had enough power to drive them to their full potential.
