Any tips on fishing Canyon Ferry?

Going to be over there next weekend. Anyone have any suggestions on tackle/tactics? We'll be at the north end, is it mostly a trout show there? Vertical jigging spoons? Marabou jigs? Twister tail grubs?

There is pretty good walleye fishing though out the lake including the north part. If you wanna fish for walleye troll slow with a bottom bouncer and a crawler harness. Usually night crawlers or gulp alive minnows work well.

Ya go to Holter and fish for perch off the docks instead. You'll thank me later for this advice.
