Any hockey fans out there?

Wow. Besides game 3, this has been the best Hockey of the year.

What a series and whomever you root for (I dislike the Oilers slightly less than I do Florida, so rooting for EDM here), I think it’s nearly impossible to argue these aren’t the two best teams in the world right now.

The panthers have better goaltending. And I agree, more depth in their bottom 6 forwards.

Well that was no fun to watch at all. Great series by the panthers.

Now it’s just listening to dudes pontificate about free agents for 3 months. I miss the season already

I called 6 games.. and the depth of the Panthers made it happen. Oilers just couldn't handle it. Perry loses his 5th Stanley cup final in a row.. brutal. Kane showing the pos he is, can't even be classy in defeat. At least the cup stays in America for another year. Great hockey this year

The better team won at home and I'm just glad Edmonton didn't riot last night, though I am surprised.

I'm actually starting to feel bad for Canada. Hockey is practically in your blood at birth and yet the 7 franchises up there just can't seem to get their act together for now 32 years. That is a long time of sucking

It sure sucks but it is what it is. The silver lining is that tons of great Canadian players are still winning the cup.

American team has won the CFL Grey Cup (1995 Baltimore Stallion) more recently than a Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup (1993 Montreal Canadiens).

The WAY TO EARLY odds have the Oilers as next years cup favorite with the Panthers right behind...I dont see how Oilers are favorites at all. They were embarrassed. Didnt show an ounce of fight in the cup elimination game. They have 2 players that are the only reason they have succeeded in the playoffs. IF the Panthers can keep Bennett/Marchand/Ekland somehow, they will be a viable candidate for cup run again no doubt. It will be interesting to see how the off-season negotiations go and some of the big name Free agents end up like Mitch Marner etc. .Now if WY would just give me my damn draw results so I can forget about hockey and start planning hunting season instead, that would be great

It won't likely be a very exciting FA this season as the FA board and moving players isn't super deep this year

I already miss WY hunting. Sucks to have left.

No way they can keep all those names. Fact is that they need to upgrade that net. That is where the problem is, IMO.
