Question- How much ammunition can you have riding over the Hoover dam to the parking lot on the other side?

My wife and I stopped to see Hoover dam on our trip to take a load of stuff to my son in California. I remembered in main line, when I saw the sign for any rentals to go to a separate line for inspection, that I had guns in the trailer.

Guard asked me if I had any guns-Yes I do.
Any ammunition-Yes.
How much-Four or five boxes.
Do you have a 1000 rounds-NO!
Good cause you are only allowed 999.

Now that is funny. It reminded me of being at MT Rushmore where I could now have a gun but I couldn't enter the buildings with a gun.

Over three week vacation and didn't do a thing on my list. (Yosemite,San Fran, drive up the Pacific coast, Portland,Yellowstone and Tetons). Found out my son was building a concrete block wall in his back yard and needed my help so we slept in the garage and I worked on it during the day while my wife played grandma.

My wife had a great time cause she got to see Pawn Stars and the oldman,big woop, watch that damn runway show(she takes notes),pickup a few widowmakers, and visit with the granchild.

Good trip? After two weeks with that sweet granddaughter,great trip.

I agree. My father loves to babysit my little boy. He says being a grand daddy is better than being a parent cause he can spoil the %&^* out of him and then send him home!
